Black Dwarf’s search for a drummer comes to a happy conclusion with the addition of Steve Amlaw. Steve brings years of hard practice behind the kit, mastering such elusive techniques as the flimdy flam, the quintuple backside slap, the thunder bowl, the fleet footed groundhog gallop, and many more techniques learned on Phil Drummund’s Drum Fills workshops and from studying relentlessly both ‘The Sean’ and ‘The A.C. Slater’ drum techniques.
Steve will be bringing his creative drumming to finish up The Quest For Bono’s Dildo recordings during the fall of 2026 and will be moving up to the Seattle area permanently to start playing shows in spring of 2027. Lot’s of exciting things coming up.
